Pastor: Aaron Linville

Email: [email protected]

Pastor Aaron was born and raised in the Piedmont of North Carolina. He was baptized and confirmed at Union Cross Moravian Church near Winston-Salem, and was also very involved in the Southern Province’s camping ministry at Laurel Ridge in the mountains of NC. He graduated from Lees-McRae College with degrees in History and Religious Studies in 2010, and completed a Master of Divinity degree at Moravian Theological Seminary in Bethlehem, PA in 2013. He and Amy married in the autumn of 2013.

Shortly thereafter, Aaron began working as a pastoral intern at New Philadelphia Moravian Church and a covenant partner with Anthony’s Plot Community, an organization that worked to meet the needs of their neighborhood and people experiencing homelessness in Winston-Salem. Aaron served as the pastor for Rural Hall Moravian Church from 2014-2018 before accepting the call to Millwoods Community Church in the autumn of 2018.

In his spare time, Aaron enjoys gardening, hand tool wood-working, and helping Amy take care of their three fur children: Erdmuthe, Komensky, and Goose.

Music Director: Katie Tilbury

Email: [email protected]

Katie is a pianist and musician who is passionate about the community
that music creates.  Born and raised in Lacombe, Ab., Katie began
studying piano at a young age, playing on worship teams throughout
high school and leading worship at her church.  She moved to
Edmonton three years ago and recently completed a Bachelor of Music
degree in classical piano from the University of Alberta.  She also holds
a Music Diploma in Piano Performance from Red Deer College.

Katie works as a piano teacher, vocal coach, and choir accompanist
around the city of Edmonton. If she is not humming a tune, you can
find her spending time with friends, family, or painting. In 2018 Katie
travelled to Phnom Penh, Cambodia where she lived for two months.
While there, she collaborated with local missionaries to teach piano and
art in the local villages.
Katie is looking forward to getting to know everyone at Millwoods
Community Church; she feels extremely blessed to be part of God’s
vision for MWCC.
