Theologians for over 2,000 years have written books, letters, and manifestos seeking to unravel the mysteries of God, yet the mystery remains. Today we gather in the aftermath of Pentecost for what is known as Trinity Sunday. We see here that God is known as Father as Son and as Holy Spirit, yet who among us can comprehend the mysteries of the Holy Trinity? Let us humbly draw close to God this morning as we open our hearts and minds to the complexity and simplicity of the divine mystery.
